Enomic Configurator in practice
Specifying varied products, solutions and processes is a challenge in many companies, especially when different departments need to work together, as many projects have shown. Enomic Configurator can provide assistance in such cases.
Quality assurance in sales and production
Spectron Gas Control Systems offers valves and alarm and control systems for all sorts of gases and gaseous substances. The Enomic Configurator software makes specifying these considerably easier.
The company's portfolio is extremely rich in variants and options, which is why Spectron has been using the Enomic Configurator system to enter orders since 2005.
With the software, the sales department can create correct order documentation (including work plans and technical drawings) independently, that is, without the need for reviews with production.
"Correct orders support quality in production," says Gerhard Grüning, Total Quality Manager at Spectron in Frankfurt am Main. "At the same time, we can reduce throughput times and minimize complaints."
Since then, over 30,000 orders have been generated using Enomic Configurator and submitted to production.
Call center solution and project tracking
Chemicals manufacturer TUNAP has been able to optimise its internal processes further with Enomic Configurator, which provides office staff with call centre functions that enable central task planning, order entry and project tracking.
The call centre solution and project tracking functions even simplify complex workflows such as those for complaints and special private brand productions. Regular project reports and automatic warning messages by e-mail enable tracking and deadline monitoring. Additional CRM features such as contact history and documenting customer specifications complete its use value.
"Enomic Configurator is extremely adaptable and supports our specific individual processes," explains Detlev Lücke, responsible Project Manager and IT Manager at TUNAP.
Knowledge of project and production processes is documented centrally and stored as templates, forms and work plans. This means that realistic deadline forecasts can be provided for customer queries and, if orders are placed, specific sub-tasks can be distributed that automatically contain the required data sheets.
With Enomic Configurator, TUNAP has a comprehensive tool for managing projects and providing customer service, thereby enabling them to accelerate throughput times and further reduce costs.
Pinpoint production thanks to convenient planning
With Enomic Configurator, the ASTORplast Selbstklebetechnik AG Group has a modern production control station. Its production planning was optimised further with the Infor MAS 90 ERP system.
This simplified production planning and made processes considerably faster. Another thing in favour of the Enomic software was its short implementation time, whilst its wide range of functions and the user interface's high level of adaptability were also factored in to the equation.
The ASTORplast Group has been producing technical adhesive tapes for sealing, insulating, protecting, mounting and connecting for over 45 years. Its headquarters are based in the German production location in Alfdorf with approximately 140 employees. It also has another production operation in Einsiedeln (Switzerland) with around 30 employees, a sales subsidiary in Austria, and representatives in France, Italy and Poland.
