Whether for individual product configurations, intelligent product searches or online consulting, Enomic Webconfigurator gives companies the advantages of online configuration systems.
With its Meto brand, Checkpoint Systems offers various solutions for promoting sales at the point of sale. Enomic Webconfigurator was able to support consulting and online sales by visualising the products on offer.
To make sales even more experience-based and successful both in the field and on the Internet, Checkpoint has introduced what is known as a shop configurator. With this electronic product consultant, customers and consultants can design the entire appearance of the planned sales area (shop) together.
The technical basis for this comes from Karlsruhe-based software company, Enomic. With the Enomic Webconfigurator, supervising advertising agency RAAB has implemented a graphical product configurator for Meto, which also works offline on laptops without an Internet connection.
"With the Meto Shop configurator, we can make experience-driven sales around the clock. We can event present products requiring explanation to customers at no additional cost," says Wolfgang Kroggel, Business Manager of Merchandising Solutions at Checkpoint Systems. "The Enomic Webconfigurator software is an ideal and specific support for our sales."
IT system and consulting firm circular Informationssysteme GmbH offers an extensive product portfolio relating to data centres, networks and IT security. Enomic Webconfigurator was implemented for selling these varied products.
The online product configurator enhances the company's existing B2B webshop. Customers can now independently configure complex products such as servers, storage appliances and tape libraries as well as standard items, and order them on the Internet.
"The Webconfigurator was online with a preliminary product area within a record-breaking three weeks," explains Kirstin Scherbarth, Marketing Manager at circular Informationssysteme.
"The Enomic software manages the variants, so we no longer need to laboriously enter each possible combination individually. Overall, the product configurator enhances our existing B2B online shop with the previous standard items and expands our portfolio with varied products."
Automation supplier Pepperl+Fuchs relies on Enomic's online product configurator for its website. It can therefore sell its varied products such as sensors and automation components over the Internet as well.
Enomic Webconfigurator provides efficient tools for conveniently managing complex product models. The website's program code is updated automatically. This simplifies project implementation and accelerates system setup, whilst at the same time reducing the work involved for ongoing data maintenance.
Pepperl+Fuchs is one of the market leaders in developing and manufacturing electronic sensors and components for the global automation market. Pepperl+Fuchs has 5,200 employees worldwide and production sites in Germany, the USA, Singapore, Hungary, Indonesia and Vietnam, the majority of which are ISO 9001-certified.
