Personal data

Personal data relates to detailed information with which you can be personally identified. This in-cludes information such as your name, address, telephone number and your date of birth. Infor-mation that is not associated directly with your actual identity – such as the number of users of a website – is not personal data.

Collection and processing of personal data

When you use our website, data is collected via search engines, forms and in log files. For the pur-pose of system security, our web servers save the connection data of the requesting computer, the pages that you visit on our website, the date and duration of your visit, identification data for the browser and operating system type that you use, as well as the website from which you visit us. Other personal information such as your name or e-mail address will not be recorded unless you provide this information voluntarily, for example when you request information. The data that is stored is used for tracking improper use on the web server and is subsequently deleted. The time of the last login is also used for advertising purposes, provided this is permissible under law.

You have the right to information about and the right to correct, delete or restrict your personal data in accordance with statutory regulations. We also provide you with your data in a structured, com-mon and machine-readable format. If we use your data on the basis of your consent (for example, if you subscribe to our e-mail news), you can withdraw your consent at any time. We will no longer use your data for this purpose once we receive your withdrawal. If we have a legitimate interest in processing your data, please do not hesitate to contact us with an objection.

You may, of course, always file a complaint with the responsible supervisory authorities.

Use and forwarding of personal data

We use the personal data you provide exclusively for a particular purpose, for example for the tech-nical administration of the website and to fulfil your requests and requirements such as to respond to your enquiry. When you register with us, the data is used to perform the registration and, fur-thermore, for advertising purposes exclusively in line with legal provisions. You can withdraw your consent to this promotional use at any time by sending a short message to the address specified above.

Your personal data will not be forwarded, sold, or otherwise transmitted to third parties unless this is necessary for the purpose of fulfilling the contract or performing a service or if we have your con-sent to do so.

Deletion of data

Your data will be deleted if it is no longer required for the specified purposes. Please note that with each deletion, the data is initially only blocked. There is a time delay before the data is permanently deleted to avoid any accidental deletions or possible intentional damage. For technical reasons data may be duplicated in data backup files and for service mirroring. Such copies shall also be deleted after a time delay for technical reasons.

SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential contents which you send to us as a website operator, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. With an encrypted connection, the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and you see a padlock icon in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data that you transmit to us cannot be inter-cepted by third parties.

Use of cookies

Our website uses cookies with the purpose of making our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. What are known as session cookies, which store the data on the technical session control in your browser’s memory, will be deleted at the latest when you close your browser. Session cookies do not contain any personal data whatsoever and lost their significance when you leave our website.

If you decide that you do not want cookies to be stored on your computer, you will still be able to access most of our website. Nevertheless, you may no longer be able to use certain functions or areas of pages.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", text files that are saved on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information that is generated by the cookie regarding your use of this  website is usually transmitted to one of Google's servers in the USA where it is saved. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be abbreviated beforehand by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other countries that are parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area. In exceptional circumstances only, the full IP address will be transmitted to one of Google's servers in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of this website's operator, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website in order to compile reports on website activities, and so that it can provide additional services associated with the use of the website and the Internet to the website operator. The IP address that is transmitted by Google Analytics by your browser will not be combined with any other data from Google.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by means of a corresponding setting in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all of this website's functions to their full extent. Furthermore, you can prevent the recording of the data that is generated by the cookie regarding your use of the website (including your IP address) at Google, and the processing of this data by Google, by using the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de) to download and install the available browser plug-in.

For more information, see http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en or http://www.google.de/intl/en-GB/policies/privacy/ (general information about Google Analytics and data protection). We would like to point out that Google Analytics has been enhanced on this web page with the code ga('set', 'anonymizeIp', true); in order to ensure that IP addresses are entered anonymised (known as IP masking).

Google Adwords Remarketing

We use the AdWords remarketing function from Google ("Google"). When you visit websites belonging to the Google Display Network (GND), Google remarketing enables us to present to you those products that are of real interest to you. To this end, cookies are stored by your browser so it can recognise you the next time you visit GND websites. Following an analysis of your website use, you then see advertisements for the products that you have already looked at, or which may be of interest to you.

To prevent cookies being stored for remarketing, you can change the settings for personalised adver-tising here http://www.google.com/settings/ads vornehmen.

Google Adwords Conversion-Tracking

We use the AdWords conversion tracking function from Google Inc. ("Google"). Google conversion tracking enables us to track what happens after a user accesses our advertise-ment. For example, we can see whether an enquiry is sent to us or whether the user registers for our newsletter. Clicking on our Google advertisement stores a cookie on your device that enables this function. No personal reference is created. To prevent cookies from being stored for conversion tracking, you can make the appropriate settings in your browser.

For additional information about conversion tracking, see https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1722022?hl=de.

Mandatory statutory provisions – especially reten-tion periods – shall remain unaffected.
