Collection and processing of personal data

When using this website, personal data is collected and processed. Personal data are individual details with which you can be personally identified. This includes information such as your name, your address, your telephone number or the IP address with which you visit this website. Information that cannot be directly related to your person - for example the number of pages visited - is not personal data.

Operation of the website

The website is hosted on a root server operated by us. The server is made available in the German data center of the company Hetzner (Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany).

For the smooth and secure technical operation of the website, it is necessary that traffic data is logged by the server when visiting the website. This includes:

  • Information about your browser, your network and your device
  • Web pages that you accessed before visiting this website
  • Your IP address

We need the data to operate this website and to protect and improve its platform and services. This data is automatically deleted after seven days.

Legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR).

Contact forms

If you send us inquiries using the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke any consent you may have given for storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR); Fulfillment or initiation of a contract (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR).

Google Analytics

So that we can make this website better, more effective and safer for you, personal data is collected for web analysis as the basis for statistical evaluation. This only happens if you consented to the use of cookies for statistical purposes when you visited the website.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", text files that are saved on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information that is generated by the cookie regarding your use of this  website is usually transmitted to one of Google's servers in the USA where it is saved. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be abbreviated beforehand by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other countries that are parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area. In exceptional circumstances only, the full IP address will be transmitted to one of Google's servers in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of this website's operator, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website in order to compile reports on website activities, and so that it can provide additional services associated with the use of the website and the Internet to the website operator. The IP address that is transmitted by Google Analytics by your browser will not be combined with any other data from Google.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by means of a corresponding setting in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all of this website's functions to their full extent. Furthermore, you can prevent the recording of the data that is generated by the cookie regarding your use of the website (including your IP address) at Google, and the processing of this data by Google, by using the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en) to download and install the available browser plug-in.

You can refuse the use of Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set on the computer, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website: Disable Google Analytics.

For more information, see http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en or http://www.google.de/intl/en-GB/policies/privacy/ (general information about Google Analytics and data protection). We would like to point out that Google Analytics has been enhanced on this web page in order to ensure that IP addresses are entered anonymised (known as IP masking).

Google Ads Remarketing

We use the AdWords remarketing function from Google ("Google"). When you visit websites belonging to the Google Display Network (GND), Google remarketing enables us to present to you those products that are of real interest to you. To this end, cookies are stored by your browser so it can recognise you the next time you visit GND websites. Following an analysis of your website use, you then see advertisements for the products that you have already looked at, or which may be of interest to you.

To prevent cookies being stored for remarketing, you can change the settings for personalised advertising here http://www.google.com/settings/ads .

Google Ads Conversion-Tracking

We use the conversion tracking function from Google Inc. ("Google"). Google conversion tracking enables us to track what happens after a user accesses our advertisement. For example, we can see whether an enquiry is sent to us or whether the user registers for our newsletter. Clicking on our Google advertisement stores a cookie on your device that enables this function. No personal reference is created. To prevent cookies from being stored for conversion tracking, you can make the appropriate settings in your browser.

For additional information about conversion tracking, see https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1722022?hl=de.
